100-day drawing challenge
I always struggle with being consistent. I’ve never done anything long enough to achieve anything worth mentioning. The perfectionist-monster has been holding me back.
So this year, 2024, I’m going to challenge myselft to… relax and just draw.
I’m updating this challenge on my thread account everyday. Let’s see how far I can go.

Day 3: The best part of a steamed bun for me is that quail egg.

Day 4: In highschool, I had to wear ao dai every monday. Once in a while, this happened.

Day 5: “Mirror, mirror on the wall; who is the fairest of them all?”

Day 6: Listen to the sound of rain 🌧️

Day 7: Back then, street vendors in my hometown used old newspaper or books to wrap banh mi or sticky rice (over leaves so no direct contact with the food). I used to read old news while having my breakfast.

Day 8: My grandmother used to sew small pockets in her underpants. That was her safe secret “wallet”. And she taught all her grandchildren to do the same.

Day 18: When I was a kid, there was a trend in birthday cakes for little girls: beauty queen/ princess in a cake gown. Eating process made it really awkward then scary (may I say traumatic) afterwards. WHOSE IDEA IS THIS?!?!
